  • An EJack is an Electric Powered Hydraulic Automobile Floor Jack. All of our EJacks are hydraulic and the 20V Lithium-Ion battery powers the motor that engages the hydraulic lift motion.  

The  EJack comes with everything you need to assemble and operate it.To assemble and operate the EJack, always use:

  • ANSI-approved safety goggles 
  • ANSI-approved gloves 
  • Jack stands appropriate for the weight of the vehicles you plan to lift 
  • Wheel chocks 
  • Big wheel models require wheel assembly and provide hardware and parts. Do not overtighten the bolts. 

  • Anyone who operates a GarageMax EJack should read, study, and understand all instructions in the enclosed owner's manual before using it. 
  • Always inspect your GarageMax EJack and ROADTEK battery and charger for damage or ill-repair before operating the EJack.  
  • Never adjust the EJack safety valve. 
  • Obtain and always use ANSI-rated approved safety goggles and gloves.  
  • Do not use the EJack to lift vehicles that exceed the EJack’s stated weight capacity.  
  • Since the EJack is a lifting device only, you must always support the vehicle being lifted with devices rated for the vehicle’s weight. 
  • Only use the EJack on a level and clean surface. 
  • Only lift vehicles at their manufacturer-recommended lifting points. 
  • There must be no passengers in a vehicle that is being lifted. 
  • Before lifting, place the vehicle in gear, engage the parking brake, and chock its tires. 
  • Keep clear of the vehicle while lifting and lowering it. 
  • Lower the vehicle slowly. 
  • Do not move or dolly the vehicle while it is lifted with the EJack.

  • Store the battery pack and charger in a cool and dry location, away from direct sunlight and excess temperatures.  Store the fully charged battery outside of the charger. 
  • Advice on regular maintenance, cleaning instructions, and tips for extending equipment life.  

  • What do the lights on a GarageMax EJack handle mean?  
    An EJack’s handle lights indicate the battery’s status. When they glow, it means the EJack is receiving power.  

IMPORTANT | Do not operate the EJack if the power switch doesn’t turn it on or off. 

  • What do the lights on the ROADTEK battery charger mean? 
    The ROADTEK battery charger shows power and charge status through colored lights that glow, flash, or appear in a steady state. 
    Green lights: flashing green lights indicate that the battery is charging, while a solid green light indicates the battery is fully charged. 
    Red lights: flashing red lights indicate that the battery and/or charger are over-heating: Remove the battery and put it safely aside to cool. 
    A solid red light indicates a damaged battery. Replace the battery and appropriately dispose of the damaged unit. 
     
  • My battery has discharged with a lifted load. How do I lower it without a working “Down” button?  
    There is a manual release cable under the handle yoke. Clear the area of tools and people, then pull the manual release cable to lower the vehicle load safely.

Follow all safety messages that follow this safety alert symbol. The symbol indicates any state that could cause injury or death. 

  • Any time you approach the GarageMax EJack, from assembly to operation, you must use ANSI-approved goggles and gloves, as well as appropriate footwear. 
  • It is imperative to always use appropriate weight-rated jack stands with the GarageMax EJack. 
  • The GarageMax EJack must always be operated on a flat, stable surface. 
  • All operators must be fully aware of GarageMax EJack safety steps and operations. 
  • Keep children and bystanders away while the EJack is in operation

  • Use only ROADTEK batteries and chargers. 
  • Once the battery is fully charged, remove it from the charger.  
  • Store batteries safely in a cool and dry location. They should never be exposed to extreme temperatures, liquids, metal objects (as they might unexpectedly connect terminals), or environments that are flammable or explosive. 
  • Maintain equipment operability and cleanliness. 
  • Modified and damaged batteries should never be used and should be replaced. 
  • Air travel: Lithium-ion battery packs should NEVER be put in checked baggage on airplanes and must be properly protected from short circuits if they are in carry-on baggage.
